Bad news.\u00a0 You will die (sort of). You can be certain of it.\u00a0 However, what happens after you die, and does it even matter?<\/p>\n

\n

I think it does.\u00a0 Allow me to explain why.<\/p>\n

\n

There are thousands, if not more, experiences from people who have physically died, and come back.\u00a0 What I mean by this is that these people were clinically dead.\u00a0 They were, by all accounts, dead.\u00a0 No heartbeat, no breathing, no brain activity. \u00a0 D. E. A. D.\u00a0 Dead.<\/p>\n

\n

Now, it is a known fact that we do not fully understand consciousness from a scientific standpoint but I would suspect the most common scientific explanation would be that the brain triggers a number of chemicals (like DMT) that cause these out of body experiences.<\/p>\n

\n

But there seems to be much more to these experiences than that.\u00a0 People report back details such as tools used during surgeries or even words spoken that indicate a presence when the brain is clinically dead.\u00a0 Science says this is not possible.\u00a0 But science is not always right.\u00a0 Once, science said the earth was the centre of the universe.<\/p>\n

\n

Note everyone thinks this and obviously other views tell us this is it, and that\u2019s it.\u00a0 That is a very \u2018hard\u2019 way to look at it.\u00a0 It is a tough guy\u2019s point of view that says \u201cThis is it and that is all there is\u201d.\u00a0 Contrary to those things that we believe in wholeheartedly,\u00a0 but never see ever (but in our own mind).<\/p>\n

\n

I understand this scientific point of view and the atheists point of view also.\u00a0 Completely logical. But something about it bothers me.\u00a0 It seems cold, hard and lacking in any kind of hope or faith. I have seen or experienced too many weird or odd coincidences in my own life to feel there is something more.\u00a0 Do you have to see something to believe in it?\u00a0 Of course not.\u00a0 I suspect you believe in love but I suspect you have never actually seen it.<\/p>\n

\n

If you understand that your actions in this world potentially impact your next life or life in the hereafter you may behave very, very differently.\u00a0 The clear example of this is the known aspect of karma (known colloquially as \u2018what goes around comes around\u2019).<\/p>\n

\n

This clear understanding has happened to millions of people around the world.<\/p>\n

\n

More than that, there are many reported experiences of children remembering past lives accurately describing aspects of those lives.\u00a0 Does that mean we live after we die?\u00a0 I honestly don\u2019t know but I do believe there is something that connects everything and if we die our consciousness, logically has to go somewhere. (nonsense)<\/p>\n

\n

I think what I am trying to say is that your life matters.\u00a0 It REALLY matters.\u00a0 You, by virtue of being born, are interconnected with hundreds or even thousands of people.\u00a0 Some of those people have had their lives changed by you.\u00a0 Some of them have had it created by you.<\/p>\n

\n

What you do here really does matter and being here as you is an astronomical miracle.\u00a0 We are all stardust and we should all shine.<\/p>\n

\n

I hope this site allows people to recognise that in some way we all did.\u00a0 In our own individual way, and that each of us had a lesson to give that could help someone else.<\/p>\n

\n
